Robots that build -
the extensions of man
Exhibition

This October we are excited to welcome everyone to the exhibition Robots that Build. The Extensions of Man. Our two day symposium is accompanied by an exhibition which showcases a unique display of large-scale robotically fabricated models and prototypes. The exhibition reflects the ambitions of the same-named symposium to showcase the innovative and experimental use of robots in architecture and design, the hybridisation of craft and robotic fabrication, sustainable and circular materials and possible futures of fabrication.

The exhibits showcase the versatile use of robotic fabrication through the employment of different techniques such as additive manufacturing, robotic weaving, casting and others. Simultaneously the use of a wide material palette for robotic fabrication is showcased. The material selection ranges from concrete, steel and ceramics to timber, recycled plastics, clay and wicker.

The exhibition takes place at Plaza, Vertigo Building on the TU/e campus and we look forward to welcoming you here between the 17th of October and the 21st of November.
